The Ft. Lauderdale Kappa Delta Alumnae Association presents
The 15th Annual Shamrock Luncheon
and Silent Auction
On Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 11:30am, the Kappa Delta Alumnae Association of Fort Lauderdale
will participate in the 25th Annual Nationwide Shamrock Event: a luncheon, silent auction and raffle.
All proceeds collected from the auction items and donations will go directly to
Prevent Child Abuse America
(20%) and Kids in Distress (80%).
Kappa Delta monies donated to the PCAA help underwrite nationwide education programs to prevent child abuse.
This year, we will be holding our luncheon at
Lighthouse Point Yacht & Racquet Club
$30.00 per person
All proceeds collected from the auction items and donations will go directly to
PCAA (20%) and Kids in Distress (80%).

KD sisters, this is where we need your help! Help us secure items for our Silent Auction.
Please use this letter to solicit donations. Use this donor receipt when you receive the items.
Or, perhaps if you'd like to purchase an item and donate it yourself; we would greatly appreciate the effort.
You will earn one raffle ticket per auction item donated, to be placed in the raffle boxes on the day of the event.
All items should be brought to the Shamrock chairperson by February 15.
We are looking for the following items to create gift baskets for our auction.
Please email Ft. Lauderdale AA's general mail to arrange a drop off location, if you cannot attend our Work Party:
baskets -- all sizes
boxes -- medium to small
mugs (coffee, soup)
cheerful books, journals, notecards, stationery, crossword puzzles
wine-related items (glasses, coasters, corkscrew, wine bag, stopper)
anything Italian (pasta, music, sauces)
chocolate (bars, biscotti, flavored coffee, sauces, truffles)
Kids related (arts and crafts, books, puzzles, stickers, plush)
Bath and body (candles, bath salt, loofa, bubble bath, soaps, towels)
Gourmet (cook books, condiments, apron, pot holders, timers, gadgets)
If you are unable to attend our work party, check donations are appreciated.
